Back in December, I wrote a post about how much I loved 4:30 every day on base. It's at this time of the day that retreat occurs and the National Anthem is played. The military does this to signal the end of the duty day and also to serve as a ceremony to pay respect to the flag. Usually the kids are outside playing at this time, and all the kids at the playground stop what they are doing and either put their hands on their heart or salute the flag. Well, Mr. T has been taught by his sisters what to do, so here he is saluting the flag, just like Daddy does. It is adorable!
