Peppermint Ice Cream Cones and Marshmallows

Deanna and Tom brought over peppermint ice cream at Christmas, so the girls and I decided to use the sugar cones we used to make trees for our gingerbread village and have cones on Monday night. I usually am not a huge fan of giving cones filled with drippy ice cream to little girls, but somewhere I had heard that if you stuffed a few marshmallows into the cone it would help with the dripping.. and it really worked! After just a few licks of the ice cream in the cones, the girls decided they wanted to bite the tip of the cone off (cause thats the fun part, right?) and so they did and there was no dripping. They also enjoyed eating the ice cream soaked marshmallow at the end. Enjoy the pics...

She is a great subject as she will sit pretty still as a I play with the settings on the camera.
