We have 8 legged houseguests....

Remember how I told you our last base house had an ant problem? Well, we were so happy to leave there to come to our brand new house. Well unfortunately since this house is brand new, it was built in what was an empty field. So the spiders from the field have come to live with us. And they aren't just any spiders, these are the kind with a red hour glass on their back.. you guessed it... BLACK WIDOWS!! We had a seen a couple of them at our old house but only outside. For those of you who remember, Mr. J has a couple as pets at his office. Anyways, apparently this is egg hatching week and we had baby black widows coming out from under the dishwasher and flying out from the vent on our ceiling. Once we noticed we had a problem, we called the housing office and they quickly sent the exterminator man to our house. Now I am finding lots of dead bugs, including a fully mature black widow upside down dead in our downstairs bathroom. About 5 minutes ago, Miss M called me to kill a baby one that had weaved a little web on her doll house roof. Oh the fun of living in the desert. Please pray these little spiders don't bite us.

  4. I think I just vomited in my mouth a little bit.....I HATE spiders! I think I would have to burn the house down and start over. The idea of ONE spider in my house makes me twitch....I can't imagine a bajillion of them--and poisonous ones too! Good thing you are finding them dead now....hope they are all gone soon!
